Long delayed Q-Tip album finally set for release

Q-Tip’s solo album ‘Kamaal The Abstract’ has finally been given a release date, eight years after it was originally produced.

The record, which was deemed ahead of its time way back in 2001, will now come out on September 14.

‘Kamaal The Abstract’ features collaborations with members of Miles Davis’ ensemble, saxophonist Kenny Garrett and Gary Thomas and was produced by Q-Tip himself.

Because of the delayed release, the album has been remixed and remastered from the 2001 version but will feature the original artwork.
