A new short documentary titled, ‘The Color of Beauty,’ follows up-and-coming black model, 24-year-old Renée Thompson, as she tries to get cast at New York’s Fashion Week.

The video uncovers that the fashion industry still lacks true diversity, and that even with Vogue Italia’s ‘All Black’ Issue, designers and casting agents still believe that black women won’t sell magazines, products, or clothing.
